Orthman team member featured in newspaper
Orthman Sales Coordinator Pablo Barajas was recently featured in
the Kearney Hub newspaper, in a story by regional correspondent
Harry Perkins. Barajas, a graduate of Lexington High School,
attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, receiving an
International Business degree in 2007. He then lived in
California for 3 years before returning to Lexington Nebraska -
and Orthman Manufacturing - just this last year.
Barajas accepted a
newly created position, Domestic and International Sales
Coordinator, with Orthman Manufacturing in September, acting as a
liason between Orthman dealers, the sales team, and the
production/shipping team. His primary duties include scheduling
and tracking all International sales from order fulfillment to
shipment accuracy. “It’s a classic ‘student leaves and then comes
back’ story.” said Barajas. “When you’re younger, you can’t wait
to leave, to get out to where the action is. But then, when you
look back, there’s nothing better than peace of mind and the
kinds of values that rural Nebraska offers.”
Orthman's international sales growth has been a key component to
the company's growth and will continue to be a strategic part in
years to come. “Our International sales growth has developed a
new business dynamic that demands a position and people like
Pablo to ensure it's success,” advised VP of Global Sales, Justin
Troudt. “Pablo is a valuable part of our overseas team. He, along
with Director of Order Fulfillment Todd Sutherland, are a vital
piece in the process for our overseas markets.
